Nice Riviera Hotel or Villa Victoria.... Any opinions ?

Travelling to Nice at beginning of May for 3 nights with my wife. Looking to stay pretty central - not hiring a car. Looking for any recommendations folks in the € 120 - € 160 per night bracket. Have picked out 2 hotels mentioned above or any other advice is welcome. We both in mid 40's, & will be just relaxing, small bit sight seeing, some nice food & few glasses of beer/wine so any advice welcome thanks ...

Nice Riviera - centrally located in a good not too busy street in the commercial district, Pastorelli if I have the right one, no more than five minutes walk from the main square, shopping, old town, bus and rail connections close by. Some nice small foodie restaurants nearby, and brasserie/Wine bars. A good standard problem free choice for Nice.

(Good choice to skip car hire - no need for one on the Riviera)
