Need Nice Tips/Advice

Hey there. I am an American living in Germany and I will be going to Nice for a week in mid-June alone. I could really use some information aboutn hotels, beaches, tours and everything else.

If someone is going to be there the week of June 19th and wants to have lunch or dinner with me that would be great also. I appreciate any help you can give me. Thanks!

Can I suggest you browse the top tips "to see and do" for Nice over on VirtualTourist - many peoplehave gone to the trouble of writing up the precise answer to your question there:

"Of f the beaten path" for Nice can be helpful too

Nice is great, but the best part s are the beaches and hill towns around it. I would at least take a day to visit St. Paul-de-Vence and Vence with a great, reasonably priced dinner at Auberge des seigneurs in Vence. I would also take the moyenne corniche (middle road) east to EZE Village and on to Monte Carlo.

As for beaches, I like Antibes if only for the super yachts, but be forewarned, the Picasso museum is closed for repairs. It's all great!
