French Language institution in Nice?

Hi everyone.

I will start my living in Nice in France from April, this year.

I'd been all stressed out from my previous work and other matters in my place here. Therefore, the plan for the living in Nice has been set with not much detailed and specific plans, in hopes of finding unexpected joys from it. Who knows,~

Regardless of my readiness for the joys , I think of studying French language first. I am ok with my English, but can hardly speak French. Since the plan is for living, not for traveling, I feel necessary for learning French in a more detailed fashion.

Could you please give me some recommendations?

Hi,

I studied at "Alliance Française" when I first arrived in Nice.

I recommend you to watch one class before enrolling, in order to to check their method and if the teacher is a good one. I had 3 different teachers (one for each level) and the last one wasn't good (she has probably retired by now).

The best price-wise is at the university of Nice but I think the minimum is one semester. Unfortunately their website is only available in French.

I also heard good things about "Alpha.B" on an expat forum.

Alliance Franciase and Alpha B have good reputations - i've known people who recommended both.

i've also known a good number who have gone to Nice uni for french courses and these also come highly recommended - though they are less flexible with timings

The AVF also do basic french lessons for members and there are any number of free online courses -eg BBC
