Electrical Adapter

Our daughter arrived in Nice late today (6/15/14). Apparently, she had taken the wrong electrical adapter for her US plugs. Can anyone give me the name of a store in Nice which would carry adapters for visitors who did not bring the right adapter? Thank you.

So she needs her 120 appliances to covert to 240? Not just the 2-pin round plugs?

Electronic equipment, razors, chargers, etc, will generally work quite happily on 110v or 230v.

However, equipment that draws significant power, such as a hair dryer or tongs, has to have a transformer with an appropriate power rating. Not really recommended for travel purposes.

No. Fortunately, she did not need a transformer. All of her appliances were certified to work with the adapter plug. And, by the way, she sent us a Facebook Message this morning that she already has picked one up. It turns out the Darty on Avenue Notre Dame is virtually next door to the school she is attending. Thanks to all of you for your help.
