how many time = st charles to prefecture

Hi,

next wednesday, I will arrive by train (8.30am) in St Charles

I have to go to bd peytral, next to Prefecture

I saw there is the metro possible (line M1 in about 7 min), 1.5 euro

could you tell me how many minutes I will need if I do it by walk (from st charles to prefecture) ?

I have no luggages, walk normally or a little bit fast

20 min ?

Possibly 20 mins, yes. The metro is easier, though! NB, if planning to walk back, note that there's a long uphill bit.

thanks for the reply

I know the metro will be the faster but I like to walk when it's possible

the train arrive at 8.30am (if it's on time ;-) and I have a job interview at 9.30am

but if it's raining I will use metro

for the return, I will have plenty of time and I think to visit Marseille, so no problem for the time

"If it's on time" -- hah! there's a phrase to conjure with when speaking of the SNCF,. An hour (if you do indeed have it) will be ample to walk. Bonne chance!
