my husband and i are travelling to lyon next week.( and apologies for this last minute question! but our dates had to change drastically and instead of coming to lyon from annecy, now we would be coming straight from geneva. so am looking for the easiest way for transportation). hence, the following:
(1) as i understand, we take a train from geneva airport to geneva cornavin station. then we can take TER train to lyon, which will bring us to part dieu station in lyon. (not considering TGV as TER supposedly takes the same amount of time and is less expensive.). have i got this right?
(2) also, is there any other way.. perhaps catching a bus/shuttle from airport itself? we would have luggage as we are on a long trip and i am concerned about getting on trains twice!! i have
checked with some shuttle companies, but it seems most operate for ski destinations.
would really appreciate your help.
and, before we embark upon this long awaited trip, i would like to thank everyone here.. for their generous help.. truly grateful for it.
a big thank you!
