Driving Times

Hey All,

I will be renting a car in Germany and would like to get an estimate on the following driving times:

How long would it take if I am going at normal speeds from:

1.) Munich To Fussen

2.) Fussen to Rothenburg

3.) RotherBurg to Sankt Goar

4.) Sankt Goar to Cologne

This would really help planning my drive. Thanks so much

Have you tried Google Map? It will give you pretty good estimates.

I find the driving time estimates on www.viamichelin.com to be fairly accurate.

So why don't you find out?

You want us to do this for you, using Google maps or Via Michelin?

Or maybe you don't know how many miles go in a kilometer?

Here is an excellent site to calculate mileage/kilometers in Europe

www.drive-alive.co.uk/route_planner.asp

The site is quite easy to navigate..

It is quite an inexact science. Both the above sites assume that there will be no other traffic on the road and you will not need any breaks.

An average of 75 mph might be a little optimistic.

The driving time should be about 6/6.5 hours allowing a bit for traffic jams, you then need to add in time for any breaks.
