Christmas day

Hi everybody,

My friend and i are looking to travel around Germany between 22nd and 27th of December. We are just wondering which is the best place to spend Christmas day (25&26th December). Is there any where markets/restaurants are open? I have spent x-mas in France(strasbourg/mullhouse) and Brussels and the restaurants and bars were open on 24, 25 and 26th. Any suggestions in Germany please. Thanks

1. Re: Christmas day

Almost all tourist sites close early on Dec. 24 and do not reopen until 26th. We found Garmish , the site of the 1936 Winter Olympics , was open and busy with skiers and partiers. Zugspitz is spectacular in winter.
