40 min layover in Munch Airport, UnitedAir, Boston-Istanbul

Is it possible to connect next flight Boston to Istanbul @ the Munich airport in 40 minutes? It's United Air. How much snow in February in Munich?

Thank you!

Yes, it is possible. Munich's Terminal 2 has a minimum connex of only 30 minutes. You have no security or immigration check whatsoever, just get off the plane and go to the next flight's gate in the same building. Your inbound from Boston will be Lufthansa operated by the way, the onward by Turkish Airlines, I assume.

No snow in Munich right now. It is a very mild winter so far. Could change, of course...

As the previous poster said, this is definitely possible. You will be going from a non-Schengen visa country (US) to another non-Schengen visa country (Turkey), and there is no immigration or security check. I did this last summer, from the US to Ukraine via Munich, on Lufthansa. My connection time was 45 minutes but it only took 15 minutes to get from one gate to the next. It's amazingly quick and easy.

Thank you all. Traveling in winter is always tricky due to weather... So often flights are grounded due to snow here. Thank you again!!!!
