Brewery near the airport?

We'll be spending the night near the MUC airport before a very early flight out the next day to go home. Deciding whether to stay in Freising (Isar) or in Hallbergmoos (Regent Park). Both offer good prices and early AM airport shuttle.

We'll have late afternoon and evening time before we fly out the next day and would like to visit a local brewery and brew pub. Do you have a recommendation? Is public transportation easy to find and take from either hotel?

Appreciate any thoughts and recommendations.

Freising is more interesting

Has with the Bavarian State Brewery Weihenstephan also the oldest brewery on the planet (since 1040).

Their brewery pub

There are frequent direct buses from Freising station (close to the Isar Hotel) to Terminal 1 and 2 of Munich Airport (MUC)

We like staying in Freising when we first arrive to get a good sleep before setting out in our rental car. Always stay at the Marriott in Freising because I use points. This is a nice hotel in a quiet, residential area.

The oldest brewery, Weinstefan, is located in Freising. The walk from the Marriott is about 45 minutes. You can arrange for an English tour and the brewery has a fairly nice restaurant next door which is a good spot for dinner.

I should have added that the Marriott has shuttles for a fee ( about 10E) to and from the airport.
