We are going to Berlin this week, and don't speak German at all but would like to see some typical old fashioned cabaret where we don't stand out like a sore thumb - in other words something for all ages.

Any suggestions?

I wouldn't worry about standing out like a sore thumb, but you really should know German to enjoy a cabaret. Much of the humor reuires that you are kind of "with it" about the German scene, and much of the dialogue is usually delivered in regional dialect. Berlin German is fast and kind of racy and difficult to understand, as it is.

You wont stand out like a sore thumb but I guess some shows you might not really enjoy when not speaking German.

One show - no cabaret though - which is definitely suitable when speaking no German is the Blue Man Group.

You could also check out the following venues, they have changing shows and some you can understand without speaking the language
