berlin public transport for three days

Hi, travelling to Berlin and arriving by train this Friday evening and departing Monday lunchtime from Schonefeld. I will need to catch a U Bahn from HBF to Wittenbergplatz as the hotel is at Welserstrasse ( or I could catch a taxi if it is economical). Would a 48 or 72 hour Berlin Welcome card be the best value for tourist type travel around the city for the weekend or would day passes be more economical? Will the Berlin Welcome card let me travel to the airport?

Thanks

The Welcome Card gets you discounts on everything from museums

to restaurants. It pays for itself if you are planning on seeing Berlin as

a tourist and doing the usual sightseeing. The 72 hour ticket is just what you need!

Yes. All 3 Berlin airports are inside the zone "Berlin AB".
