Tour Guides in Berlin

There are 6 of us on a cruise with only one day in Berlin. Can anyone recommend a tour guide who can pick us up in Warnemunde - give us a few hour tour of Berlin (German and Jewish Heritage) and get us back to the ship - all in 15 hours? We will be forever grateful.

Not sure if they handle the pick up far away from Berlin, but you can ask:

Maybe they can refer another company as well....

Hi Jill,

Have you tried researching on cruise critic? Go to their website(cruisecritic.com),then to message boards, then rollcalls, search for your cruiseline, find the name of your cruise ship ,then destination and the date you are starting your cruise. Lots of passengers are usually hoping to find others to share tours with. Usually fellow and past passengers will share their experiences with certain tour guides and you can make your decisions based on that. When we took a baltic cruise lots of people were using spb tours to tour Berlin.

It is going to be a long day and will hopefully inspire you to come back to this beautiful city.

If you need a guide, here's your guy:

Amichai Green <a.a.green@online.de> is sensational. He's intelligent, and knowledgeable, with a deep affection for the city he's lived in for years and an eagerness to tell you all about it; his English is perfect, and he's got a wonderful personality. He was recommended to us and we couldn't have been more pleased. We gave him an idea of what we wanted and he added to our agenda with perfect suggestions.

I organized 18 people from my cruise ship through our cruise's roll call on sister website cruisecritic for a day trip to Berlin using Spb-Tours, the same company we used for our two-day private tour with just 4 total in St. Petersburg in June 2011. The owner's husband is German and lives in Berlin during the cruise season. Our guide was American, Heather, and she was amazing. We spent seven hours in Berlin and felt we saw a great deal. We enjoyed it so much we are returning next Sunday for six days in Berlin.

We visited Berlin for 2 days in Sept. of 2013 and had a wonderful person guide who showed us all the sites, both historic and modern and explained all with great knowledge. He's very personable and knows his way around. We would highly recommend him. His name is Maukus Muller and his contact e-mail address is:
