TXL to Holiday Inn Express City Center- West

What is the best, and most economical method to get from TXL to the Holiday Inn Express? We will be arriving on a Saturday about 5pm.

Take the bus X9 to Zoologischer Garten ,they run every 7-10 mins and take 20 mins. From there it is a little over 5 mins walk to the hotel.

Walk past the Kaiser Wilhelm Memorial church,it should be to the left when you leave the station car park. Continue on that road Palace Hhotel should be on your right. Shortly after cross the big traffic junction onto Kurfurstenstrasse. The Holiday Inn will be on th left about 300 yards

Excellant. Thanks for the help. We are looking forward to our time in Berlin.

I am planning to buy a 5 day Berlin WelcomeCard when we arrive at TXL. Can I use this on the X9 Bus?

Yes, you can. The card is valid on all public transport: U-bahn, S-bahn, buses and trams.

If you intend to go to Potsdam and/or Sachsenhausen, you will need an ABC card. Otherwise, the things that most visitors will want to see are in Zones A and B.
