Berlin for Cheap(ish) Stag Do

Hi

I am trying to plan a stag party for late January and really needs to be a winter city due to time of year! Trying to keep it as cheap as possible just so that as many mates can afford to come along and give the groom a great send off.

The flights to Berlin look cheap enough but was a bit concerned about two things; the 'spread' of the city centre and the price of beers.

Sounds like the city has a number of different areas for drinking - does this mean the constant need to travel between areas and bars for a stag party? And are the prices for beer, food and clubs reasonable when there?

If anybody can help and even better has been at that time of year it would be a big help to hear how you found it.

Thanks a lot in advance!

Totally reasonable prices. Spread is only as for any city, there's areas with tonnes of stuff within each and a tram running inbetwixt all night. Go for it.

We were pleasantly surprised with the cost of drinks, on average, about 3.80 to 4 euros for a half liter of beer in most of the places we visited.

Very easy city to get around with the underground, train, trams and buses taking you all over.
