Travel from Schonefeld Airport to Marriot Berlin (Mitte)

Hi

I searched the forum, but thought it was worth adding this to ensure I have the most upto date information. I wondered if someone would be kind enough to tell me how to travel from Schonefeld Airport to the Marriot Berlin in the Mitte area (Inge-Beisheim-Platz 1, Berlin, Berlin 10785, Germany)?

I understand that the journey is fairly simple using the train/tube system, but any guidance would be much appreciated for nervous travellers! It would also be helpful to know if the hotel is easy to find once off the transport system.

Many thanks in advance.

Hello Toy.

The fastest way would be taking the regional train RB19 from Schoenefeld airport to Potsdamer Platz.

However RB19 is on an hourly schedule, so you might want to take the Airport Express train instead, if you just missed it. These are the trains RE7 (bound for Dessau) or RB14 (bound for Nauen) from Schoenefeld to Friedrichstrasse. Change for S-Bahn S2 (bound for Blankenfelde) or S25 (bound for Teltow) to Potsdamer Platz there.

The hotel is located close to the northern exit of the S-Bahn station.

Here's a location map: www.bvg.de/de/standortplan/9100020

You'll need a ticket or card for zones ABC.
