Frankfurt for the night, what to do

We have a flight that arrives in Frankfurt at 7:30pm and leave the following morning at 7am for the US. Flight is at 11am. Any suggestions for taking two teenagers somewhere or just stay in hotel and relax? This is the boys first trip to Germany . We will be staying at the Fairfield Marriott near the Messe area.

It depends on what day you will be here. There are all kinds of events and festivals going on all spring and summer. If you are here in the summer, it is light outside until quite late. I certainly would not hang out in a hotel room, when you could be sightseeing in Frankurt, walking along the river, sitting at a cafe in one of the open market squares or along the Fressgasse or Alte Oper.

Absolutely agree with that! It is well worth it to enjoy your last night in Germany with a nice meal and stroll as opposed to sitting in a hotel room.
