Dusseldorf Train Station to Hotel for 1 Night

Hello,

We will be visiting Dusseldorf for 1 day and 1 night. We arrive on Sunday January 26, and leave for the US on Monday the 27th.

We are arriving into Dusseldorf by train, and leave by airplane. We do want to see the sights in Dusseldorf on Sunday, but we are not sure where we should stay. Is there anything that is convenient to sightseeing?

Our flight leaves Dusseldorf at 9am on Monday morning, so we could either stay close to the hotel or in the center of town and take transport to the airport.

Thank you for your help!!

For one night I recommend Max Hotel Garni, near to the train station. You cn easily get to Altstadt and many destinations and the airport.

There are tons of hotels in every price range in the city center of Duesseldorf (btw. Media harbour and hofgarten(, They are all pretty good for getting an overview of the city. As ZB said, Max Hotel Garni is a decent one. I also like the Melia, Radission Blu Meda Harbour or the new Innside Media Harbour.
