Where to go in Spain?

I have been to Madrid, Sevilla, Malaga and Barcelona before. I am taking my teenage son and wondered about Northern Spain. Are there interesting destinations there or should I return to Sevilla, Granada and Barcelona? I am hoping to travel for around $5,000 for 7-10 days for the both of us.

One of the most beautiful places in northern Spain is La Coruña, which has beautiful beaches and wonderful food. Nearby is Santiago de Compostela. However it is best to visit the north only during summer, to assure you the best weather. San Sebastian is another beautiful resort, but more expensive.

San Sebastian is amazing. The North coast is beautiful and has the best beaches.
