Looking for some tips and tricks for our trip!

My friend and I are going to Spain for 9 days in July. We are flying into Barcelona and out of Madrid. Our thought was Barcelona (3), Valencia (2), Seville (2), Madrid (2).

1) What do people think of that?

2) What's the best way to get between cities? It looks like a flight to Valencia from Barcelona is a 3 hour train or a 10 hour flight...how can that be!?

4) Where are some of the best places to stay?

5) are we missing any great spots that we should swap out for?

All and any helpful feedback is appreciated!

Maybe swap Granada for Valencia. Barcelona really deserves 3-4, Seville 3, Granada 2 and Madrid 3-4 though.
