Andalusia car trip planning question

Hi, there.

I plan to rent a car late October to explore Andalusia area. One of the route arrangements I have is: morning start driving from Jerez to Tarifa to Gibraltar....stop to explore the Rock for 2 hours, then head east to Malaga and stop the night at Granada. Sounds like a lot of driving to me. Can I make it comfortably in 8-9 hours? If not, what alternatives you would recommend?

Thanks for the suggestion.

Thanks...I am just not sure whether the traffic would throw me off a bit.

Would the traffic along the coast and the Rock pretty back in late October?

SGT:

I do not know if you are aware that there is a border problem now at Gibraltar with a dispute between the authorities in Gibraltar and the Spanish Government. Crossing the border may take hours. I would avoid Gibraltar until this problem is resolved.

Benny, is it possible to park on the Spain side and walk into Gibraltar, hopefully avoiding the queues?
