Postcards from Spain to US

We sent a bunch of postcards home from Spain about 2 weeks ago and none of have arrived. We used 90 Eurocent stamps, which is what we were told would get them home. Any idea if we used the right postage or other reasons they may not have arrived? Thanks.

Spanish post office is the "obvious" reply.

Though generally they are even worse at delivering things from abroad/ from home/ from anywhere than at sending them there.

Don't give up hope. Yet.

(As for queing up to be served .... but you didn't ask about that.)

The Spanish post office is not the most efficient.

Maybe I've been extremely lucky so far, but everything I've ever sent has arrived... To the US it usually takes a week, but now after fund cuttings, offices closed and reduced personnel in some cases they are overloaded and delays may occur. Spanish postal service may be not the most efficient, but there are much worse and they may be slow but usually very reliable.

The postage of 0.90 EUR was correct in case the postcards were of regular size.

Did you send them at the actual post office, or in a postbox in the street, or via your hotel? If not in the actual post office, you have to add the frequency the postbox is emptied. What else could happen? Who knows. From idiot drunkards setting on fire the postbox for fun, to water blurring the address, or maybe rats eating them... Lol I'm just imagining ;-)
