Beach in Cadiz?

Hello everybody!

I'm planning a 5 days trip to cadiz the first week of september. The ideal would be going to the beach on foot during the day and sightseeing historical sides of the city at night without taking the car.

Problem is I can't figure out about the distances. Could you suggest where is the best area to stay?

Thanks a lot

Well anywhere along the more modern strip of land leading to the old city is great because you are right on the long Playa Victoria facing the Atlantic ocean and you have plenty of beach bars and facilities and nearby on the road side you have some nice places to eat something.

You can also find the a small bay and beach which is famous called La Caleta right in the old city area.

You could stay anywhere in Cadiz and you are not too far from some nice sand. The local buses are good if you decide to stay further away from the centre. First week of September is awesome because most of the things are open and even an air show is held around that time at Playa Victoria. Good time to go.
