A New Museum Coming to Malaga!

Muelle Uno will have a new museum in 2015. Works of art from the Pompidou Center of Paris will be displayed there. The Mayor of Malaga has signed an agreement with that museum. The art work that will be displayed is modern art. This will be the second center affiliated with this museum that will be located outside Paris.

The center will house 70 works for an initial period of five years as well as a temporary exhibition annually changed. The Pompidou centre in Malaga will be ready by 2015.

I have been to the Pompidou Center and it is one of the best contemporary arts centers in the world. My favorite artists there were Robert and Sonia Delaunay. They had many large works of art and the colors they used were fantastic!

I do not understand the connection between art museums in Paris and Malaga.

Hope the external design of the Pompidou centre in Malaga does not follow the lines of the one in paris, to me one of the most hideous designed buildings of the 70's, Love Paris but to me this did not add to the fantastic designed buildings in this city.
