We stayed at the Cervantes 3 years ago and were not impressed.

However, recent reviews seem better so we are giving it another go on Wednesday - just one nights All Inclusive.

Will post our impressions on here when we are there.

Exit the station, turn left, cross san Miguel, hotel on your right. Total distance about 400 yards. As you look up you will see the hotel signs especially at night. Walking time 10 mins max.

Completely flat walk once you are out of the railway station that is underground.

No lift at torre station, escalator sometimes not working (usually when i need it). all on the flat until you get to the cliff edge, then either lift down (another 400 yards walk) or steps to the beach.

Well done Wendy. You will be there for Andalucia Day on 28th Feb - a local Holiday (shops closed) but usually plenty of events going on.

Will post our impressions of the hotel when we arrive there tomorrow.

Hotel much improved since our last visit.

Food at Lunch and Dinner good but Breakfast disappointing as all English Breakfast items were cold and Cheeses/Hams very basic quality. A.I. drinks fair quality and served in glasses rather than the plastic tumblers you find in some A.I. hotels.

Room very pleasant and spacious with matching curtains/bed spreads. 2 Queen size beds pushed together. Bathroom a bit dated but spotlessly clean.

All staff very pleasant.

A large party of British women very roudy - drinking all day and then shouting to eat other from one side of the hotel to the other from their balconies at 2 a.m. this morning!
