If the timings are right get the bus from the airport M128 stops on the main road above the hotel, 3.50 each. Another option is the train to Torremolinos and then a taxi, but this will cost about 14 euros total.

As its a Sunday your taxi cost higher, I would guess about 22 euros, get a quote from the airport taxi marshalls.

Weather, temperature in the day mid teens, night round 7-10 degrees, you decide clothes

From Montemar station down to the Pez takes around 10 mins, and is an easy walk...all downhill. Don't worry about the big dog, he's safely confined to his garden!

BUT back up can take significantly longer if you have lots of luggage and it's hot! However, you are in luck as there is a cab rank just opposite the Pez that always has a few cabs on it so just get them to take you up to Montemar station ( €6 ish).

Montemar station is luggage friendly, so no hassle there. Get the train there from the airport, and walk down - then you'll know whether you can make it back up or not LOL

If you intend going into Málaga anytime during your stay note that it would be cheaper to buy a three-zone Bonotren ticket when you're first at the airport - it lasts for 10 journeys and more than one can use it.

Here's a map with your route marked, print it off before you go:
