The Sol Timor is in an excellent location - it's on the border between Torremolinos and Benalmádena, so the Marina is close by one way and La Carihuela isn't far the other way. There are some Irish bars in the immediate neighbourhood too if that's your thing!

Would take about 45 mins to walk if thats a guide assuming you can pass all the watering holes.

45 mins? Fat chance!

If leaving from the Bajondillo end you'd have to recover from walking round the headland with a quick stop at Chiringuito La Coquina.

Then Chiringuito Jimmy will probably have a paella on the go, and after that it's bad luck to pass Chiringuito Antonio Jaime without buying the pirate a drink....

Hi Erinjack,

As others say, Sol Timor is about 45 minutes walk along the promenade from Bajondillo (perhaps 2 miles), but it is impossible to do this walk properly without many rest stops.

Around the Timor there are several Irish type bars. There are also other bars, notably Charlies and Toms Tavern, Rumours and the Fig and Olive. All good, and restaurants in the area including the Carvery, Kates Cottage, Spanish Garden, El Trillo, La Vina de Ale are all within 5 minutes stroll, the Marina at Benalmadena is also 5 minutes and La Cariheula 15 minutes gentle stroll.

You would be on the other side of central Torremolinos, but still very convenient for transport and shops.

Have a great holiday.
