Montefrio, Alcala la Real, Castillo de Locubin, Priego, Alcaudete, Lucena without thought, but whether they suit you......
Look to the individual forums or google (the images may help).
I could not comment. I have been to the village and the church and I remember a little of the significance of the caves only from the reading of it. If you do go to the caves, you will probably need to find out or make arrangements for a guided tour.
If I were you I would not bother with the bat caves at Zuheros- not particularly thrilling.
However Priego is a great town with some really interesting stuff to see. Also on the road from Granada near to Priego you will pass The Villa Romana 'El Ruedo' at Almedinilla near Priego de Córdoba, built in the 1st century AD, ...well worth a visit. If it is locked ask at the information centre opposite- they let us in although it was not supposed to be open
Zuheros, apart from being an extremely beautiful white-washed town, with a delicious local goat cheese, has the caves that, in my opinion, are well worth a visit.
See Zuheros pictures here:
Info about the caves:
And, last but not least, info about the cheese ;)
just returned from 3 wounderfull weeks in Andelucia.
Preigo was good, but we totally fell in love with Zuheroes. We stayed at the inn near the Castillo, we had a $1M view.
The cave were very good. The drive to the top of the mountain (where the entrance is) was amazing.
We also hiked the Canyon near the town, very nice.
No one should missed this jewel of town. It is barely on the map, but so beautiful.
