visiting Andalucia (Granada, Cordoba) from Madrid

Hello,

We will be arriving in Madrid on April 11 and staying until Easter Sunday. We plan to visit Cordoba and Granada. Could you please advise on the best itinerary for this? Should we visit Cordoba first and then Granada or vice versa? How many nights should we allot for each place? What are the places that we absolutely should see? What suggestions would you have for places to stay?

Thanks in advance for your reply.

ntsing:

I would visit Cordoba first.

For train travel:

Read Buying Alhambra Tickets Online and BOOK EARLY.

During Easter week much of Spain will be traveling and you need to make hotel reservations early.

Many thanks for your response. Could Seville also be visited on the way back to Madrid?
