I certainly hope not as am approaching that age and do not plan to stop renting cars in pain !!! The rental car companies are more interested in young inexperienced drivers. Your main problem is finding a car with automatic gear shift. Assuming you need it. But do try various rental operators.

Had you considered using public transport for the Granada to Marbella route or are you planning a longer car hire? The regular buses that go between Granada and Malaga are quite efficient and fairly frequent. If you need a car from say Malaga there will be car hire companies near the bus terminal / rail station.

Or you can take another bus over to Marbella . Local taxis are everywhere.
