How long in Alhmabra

We will be in Granada Sept 5-8th. I'm thinking of going to Granada on Saturday Sept 6th. We will have our 9 month old baby with us. Few questions:

* Is it better to go on Saturday vs Sunday vs Monday?

* What time of the day is best to go (morning, afternoon or evening) given it will be fairly hot (90Fs?)

* How long should we plan to spend there?

* The timed entry, is it timed just for the entry or total stay (example, if we enter at 10 am, do we need to be out by a certain time or we can be there till closing)

* Anything else I should know before booking?

I'm about to reserve our tickets, but wanted to check all of this in advance. Thanks!

Think mornings are good when its hot and the morning session runs from 08.30 to 14.00

If you buy tickets for yourselves and may as well take a free ticket for junior and look to enter the Nasrid Palaces around 11.30 onwards you can visit the 3 other ticketed areas before hand perhaps starting at Generalife and gardens which is at the higher end of the complex and also about same level as main entrance pavilion.

Then later walk down towards the lower part and viusit the other ticketed areas making sure to be within the 30 minutes time slot for Nasrid.

If you like you can exit through the Justice Gate after your tour and walk down to Plaza Nueva.

Manjeena:

For a first visit it will take you 3 hours minimum. Just do not go on Monday because the two museums in the Carlos V Palace will be closed, and they are really interesting.
