help with accommodations

Hi,

Will be arriving from Granada by bus. Any suggestions for decent 3 star hotels close to the bus station? We will be travelling light and do not mind wheeling our luggage to the hotel. Thank you in advance for your suggestions.

Well my BC cousins, what's you budget for both Sevilla and Granada? How cheap do you want to go? You have a lot of options, or you could be comfortable for a few pennies more.

Hi Robert2533,

Preferably less than 100 euros per night. Do many hotels include breakfast in the price?

Since you haven't said when you will be in Sevilla, the time of year will have a great effect on the price of the room, but here are a few reasonably comfortable hotels in Sevilla within your price range, at least through February:

Hotel AC Santa Justa, C/ Luis Fuentes Bejarano, 45

Las Casas de los Mercaderes, Alvarez Quintero, 9

Patio de la Alameda, Alameda de Hércules 56

Amadeus, Farnesio 6

OK. the bus from Granada arrives at the PLAZA SAN SEBASTIAN bus station. I have pin pointed this on the YELLOW PAGES map at this location:

If you cross the main street known as Menendez Pelayo you will see the gardens which are at the rear of the Alcazar. On that Yellow Pages map you can zoom or move the map around to see where you are. It also highlights some hotels (not all as they may not subscribe to the yellow Pages service) and so you can get a good idea of the locality. I would head for the Santa Cruz district which is to the left and down of the bus station on the map ! For example, a hotel called Alcantara http://www.hotelalcantara.net/ is perfectly acceptable although the rooms are quite small. I stayed a couple of years ago and was happy as it's close to the Cathedral and my favourite tapas bar at Las Columnas !
