The Cathedral

well we have 13 sleeps to go before we are in seville we cant wait ... just wanted to ask a quick question is the Cathedral still free on a sunday seen posts on here but they are old ...i was gonna ask if anyone recommends any good tapas places but thought that a silly question with there been so many i am sure we will be spoilt for choice

Cathedral is free during mass services, and only for attending mass services, otherwise you´ll have to pay.

In Calle Mateos Gago, just behind the Cathedral, you´ll find plenty of typical tapas bars. Do as sevillanos, and visit 3 or 4 an evening (1 tapa and 1 beer/wine in each!)

The Mass is held in one part of the Cathedral and you cannot see the other parts of the Cathedral without paying. It is worth it to pay because the Cathedral has so much to see. Also you get a ticket to enter the Church of El Salvador, one of the most beautiful churches in Seville.
