They start on Dec 1st. There will be more lights than last year (27 streets more) because local government thinks it'll be a good way of incentivate tourism and xmas shopping.

They are already up in the surrounding villages, but not yet switched on.

If you have time, come to Malaga to see our Christmas lights, which will be on between Dec. 1 and Jan. 6. We usually have 4 million light bulbs which turn our downtown into a wonderland of lights.
