Real Alcazar.

I'm a bit confused about visiting the Alcazar on the website it says "General Day Visit" from 0 euros (https://oberonsaas.com/realalcazarsevilla/visitageneraldos ) but the "VISITA CUARTO REAL ALTO" is from 14 euro. ( https:/…visitacuartorealdos ).

Are the grounds of the palace open to visit for free and you just pay to visit inside the palace or is there an overall entrance fee?

Thanks.

There is an overall fee. I think the Zero fee is for youngsters or other special privileges. I know that if you are a "senior" or "student" cost is much reduced. The general ticket is for everywhere except the Royal Apartments and then the cost increases. I have found that going to visit and buying on the day is perfectly fine. No need for advance purchase unlike you have very limited time in Seville and want to plan everything like clockwork.

Entrance is free for those of us who live in Seville. At least some students have free entry as well although this may depend country of origen.
