it will be not difficult to get official tickets at the official ticket office in the stadium the morning of the match or even 2 hours before the match. The stadium is about 55000 and nowadays it is about 35000 ppl that go to every match.
The game is a 10pm kickoff (thanks Spanish TV!) so you will have plenty of time to get tickets from official sources.
All games in Spain are shown live on TV and kickoffs are staggered to allow this. That also may explain why attendances are declining. I think it was the Betis fans who started going to games in their pyjamas in protest about the 10pm kickoffs.
Thanks so much for the info on the tickets. The late start (though annoying for most) is fine by us, we'll grab dinner first and then head to the game.
there are some restaurants in Reina Mercedes area (a 10-15 walk to the stadium), including sloppyjoes.es/pizzeria-sevilla-sloppy-joes/r… which is a decent american pizza restaurant (one of the closest pizzas to american ones i've tried)
cubsur .. it was Rayo Vallecano fans who did that in protest to a midday kickoff.
