San Sebastian itinery/options?

My friends suggested a 3.5 day (wed pm to Sun pm) trip to San Sebastian flying into Biarritz via Ryanair. Price isnt too bad. I have only been to Barcelona and Seville not familiar with Basque region. Anyone been? might be squeezing a lot in but was thinking two days in San Sebastian with a day trip to either Bilbao or Pamplona or option 2 two days in San Sebastian (flying out of Biarritz) and spend last day/night in Biarritz. Any opinions on the cities re sightseeing, nightlife, restaurants.

San Sebastian has some of the best food in the world at all prices. I would probably leave Pamplona out of any itinerary unless you are coming during San Fermin and have an interest in that type of thing.

Bilbao is an easy day trip from San Sebastian and Biarritz or Saint Jean de Luz are convenient options in France. You will however find the prices for food and hotels more expensive in France than in Spain.
