First time in Ibiza now need to book a hotel.

We are in our thirties and have booked the flights now all we have to do is book the hotel.

We like the look of Ocean Drive but it has no pool. We want to be near all the action but will not be hiring a car.

We want something trendy with a pool for about £250/night on b&b.

Trendy in a music and party sense then try the Es Vive hotel near Space nightclub and Playa Den Bossa beach bars

4. Re: First time in Ibiza now need to book a hotel.

Hi Many thanks for the reccomendation dannykay.

Have booked EsVive for August but will not arriving in Ibiza until the the early hours ie 03:00 ish so was wondering what would be the cheapest means of geting from the airport to the hotel?

We intend to drop our bags at the hotel and go straight out and hit a club. Would it be wise to purchase tickets in advance or just purchase on the door?

Also what would be the best place for breakfast/brunch?

regards.

At that time in the morning its peak hours for Taxis, especially in August, but if you can catch one its 10mins and a 10e fare. There is a bus the 10B, that departs at 4am and will take you to Playa Den Bossa with a 10min walk to your hotel.

Best place for breakfast or brunch would be your hotel.

In August and for the big nights its best to book your tickets in advance on http://www.ibizahire.com/tickets/

if you're in a hurry in august you'll probably end up in a pirate taxi, but choose carefully - some of them will want €40 for what would normally be a €15 trip!

which club do you want to go to?

playa den bossa would be a good shout for brunch if you miss the hotel breakfast (just pick one one of the beach bars). there's also cafe sidney in the marina but the service will probably be terrible in august....

Hi and thanks for all your advice.

As said earlier will be arriving at our hotel about 02:30 ish on Thursday morning so what would be the nearest top club to Es Vive hotel?

Every one who has been before says its essential to hire a car and it is dead easy to get from one side to other but we dont the hassle of driving.

For example the wife says we have to go to Cafe del Mar (?) so in your opinion do we need a car as ive seen these Discobuses (?) Are these reliable?

Both Space and Pacha are 15 mins away by foot. Best to go to Space as Thursday night is the David Guetta experience, where Pacha experiment as to how many bodies they can squeeze into a club. If you need to turn around in there you have to go outside and come back in again!

Bus services in Ibiza are very reliable. You would need 2 buses to get to San Antonio or a taxi would cost 35€ via San Jose.

San An is the furthest place you will go - just grab a cab, probably less than €30 in the daytime and obviously you should go before sunset......

as danny said, you can walk to space but i would probably try and flag down a cab because it's a fairly long walk if it's warm. pacha would be about €10 in a cab.

enjoy.
