North/West in early June?

Uups...

The headline should be North/South, not North/West. Sorry :(

Planning to visit Mallorca in first weeks of June.

Thinking to stay in Can Picafort (in North) or Colonia Sant Jordi (in South).

But is the Northern side of the island rainier than the Southern side (like in Canary islands the Northern side is usually more rainier + a bit colder than the souther side, same in Majorca)?

Is Can Picafort or Colonia Sant Jordi very crowded in June?

I think neither of them has very busy/loud night life, if I'm right?

But how about the beaches in these places (crowded or...)?

1. Re: North/West in early June?

Neither of the places you mention is specially noisy, but I think CSJ is quieter at night.

The northwest of the island is wetter thsan the south-east. Colonia is staistically the driest part of the island. Probably not a great problem in June in either resort though.

CSJ is not particularly crowded in June and there are very large beaches.

Obviously, as I live in CSJ I believe it to be as much nicer resort than CP.
