soller or palma?

Hello everyone,

I recently find out that there is available room in soller esplendido hotel fro the dates we want.

We already had a reservations in palma de mallorca santa clara urban hotel and we are able to cancel that.

This is going to be our first trip to Majorca. We are in our early 30s and it is our honeymoon.

We like going dinning, drinking and the beach

Should we just stay in Palma or try out Soller

We are in between and wanted to ask people their opinion as we have no idea about the island

Thanks a bunch

There is a lot of difference between the capital city and the litle port of Soller and it's beautiful surroundings. Do you want city or spectacular scenery and a more rural feel. If you answer that one, I think you have your answer. We were in Port Soller last week, our second visit to this beautiful place. The Esplendido is in a great location overlooking the magnificent bay. The beach is fine, but it is one of the few sandy beaches in this area due to the mountains. Palma may give you closer proximity to other beaches though.

Hi DG

If you are there for a week or more why not stay in both, 3 days in Palma is the perfect stay to get the feel of the city and see enough, spend the rest of the time chilling out in Puerto Soller.
