Long term villa rental

Can anyone help!!!

I am looking to rent a villa on the island from the end of June 2014

I have drawn a blank dealing with the local estate agents they either have nothing available or they are trying to charge me extortionate charges for doing next to nothing.

I have a budget of up to 2000 euros, does anyone know of any properties available or maybe know of an estate/letting agent on the Island who is not looking at getting rich from every deal

Thank you your help would be greatly appreciated

€2000 per what and for how long? How many bedrooms, do you need a pool? Anything on the coast will be very expensive.

Your problem is most villas will already have bookings for this summer so the chances of finding something without any pre-bookings is very slim. Most good villas will rent out at around €2000 per week, I assume your budget was per month.

You will be better off trying at the end of the season or using an agent such as Kuhn & Partners or similar although they all like their pound of flesh.

The situation is further complicated by the Demise of Villa Parade.

Apologies,

2000 euros per month, 3+ bedrooms

I am not concerned if it is on the coast or inland and no preference for a pool

Thank you

Presuming it's a permanent let - (you said "long term", which normally means 1 year or more), and depending on where it is, you can get a decent 3 BR 2 bath place for between €500 and €1000 per month (€1000 per month can get you a private pool and some land, too).

If you're only interested in posh areas, such a place might run you as much as €1600 per month. €2000 would net you a palace.

http://www.buscocasa.com/ and http://www.milanuncios.com/inmobiliaria/ are well known local portals for rentals. Id avoid the Kuhn/Engels & Voelkers if you can.
