Ciutadella or Cala Galdana?

We were thinking of staying in Cala Galdana but are now looking at Ciutadella (Port Ciutadella hotel) - which of the 2 would you recommend?

we want a relaxing hotel where we can walk from the hotel in the evenings to local restaurants to sample spanish cuisine and have quite a few to choose from.

We also enjoy visiting places of interest.

Your suggestions would be very much appreciated - we are hoping to go in September.

Thank you

Hi Dog Dad

Just returned from a fantastic week in Fornells - thanks so much for your help with deciding on our destination - we absolutely loved it and would like to return again some time.

The whole island is very very pretty and we definitely preferred Fornells as a place to stay.

Regards

Glad you had a good time Ruth, you were there the same time as me for a day or so! Did you end up staying in Hostel Fornells? If so how was it?

Hi

We didn't stay there in the end. We rented an apartment in Es Castell - wonderful views across the harbour.
