Advice please

Hi,

We are travelling to Fuerteventura on 10th June for 7 nights (staying in Caleta De Fuste), just wondering what the weather will be like ie will I need to pack cardigans/long sleeves for our little ones for the evenings? Also do you think the swimming pool will be warm enough to swim in at this time of year?

Many Thanks

Hi you may wanna pack some litle cardie's for the small ones as sometimes the wind can be a tad chilly for the small kids, but dueing the day the weather should be warming up just nice as high season is just around the corner now,

as for the swimming pools we have always found the pools in fuerteventura been a tad chilly this being in middle of august aswell, once your in the pool you wont really notice its cold we found u can find it kinda welcomeing an refreshing, hope you have a great holiday!

The minimum temperature at night will be between 18 and 20C but if there is a breeze blowing it may feel colder than that so take gazzer2572's advice

It isn't so much that the evenings will be cold. I remember summer days back in the UK that were only 20°C! The problem is that the sun's so strong that your skin always suffers a little bit, however carefully you apply sun-tan lotion, but because there's always a breeze here you often don't feel as though the sun is hot. Don't forget that it's an "African sun", just 100km away from the Western Sahara. After a day under that, even if it's been partially cloudy, you'll feel the slightest breath of evening breeze as being chilly.

So, bring cover-up clothing but make sure that everything is light. You aren't going to want warm clothes, just something to keep you feeling protected from the elements.
