Argayall Palace of Light - Valle gran rey

Has anyone stayed in this alternative centre? It looks really interesting from the web site - I was thinking of staying but am interested in any feedback before committing as it is not cheap!

I've stayed on La Gomera many times, usually in La Calera.

Friends stayed at Argayall, for a yoga holiday. They said the yoga was good, but the place sounded very poor value. The electricity is by generator and goes off at night. The food is just a buffet. The accommodation sounds basic, especially the tent option - people were waking up screaming when the rats shuffled around!

Might be worth staying in Valle Gran Rey somewhere and just signing up for the courses, if that's what you're interested in. Otherwise I'd think very carefully what you want out of a break before booking this.

Thanks thats really helpful. We stayed in very basic accoomdation in Calera last year but are wanting to stay somewhere a bit better for this visit and intended to split it between Argayall and somewhere else. Taking into account your comments we will give Argayall a miss. It will be easier to book other accomodation for 7 nights as most of them will not accept a booking for less. I have been looking at 2 apartment complexes, Los tarajales and tres palmeras - anyone any experience of these? Comments would be much appreciated.
