Best all inclusive hotels

Hi

Thinking of going to Lanzarote this summer. Would be looking at all inclusives.

Any opinions on good ones?

Preferably in Costa Teguise or Playa de los Pocillos.

Have heard PDC is a bit too 'lively'? We are a couple in late 40s.

Appreciate that Lanzarote is geared up for the British but somewhere that has some authentic bars and restauarants would be good to get out of the hotel once or twice!

As you know travel companies websites not always reflective of what is actually there so any help would be good....

If you are really set on going All Inclusive I would have a look at the Costa Calero Hotel, (may be still under Iberostar Costa Calero on reviews). It is a very nice hotel and the AI is exceptional value as most alcoholic drinks are the real thing i..e not local brands.

The hotel has a shuttle bus to PDC a few times a day and a taxi into PDC would be quite reasonable too.

There is a lovely Marina with some nice (designer) shops and bars within a few minutes walk of the hotel, if you fancied a change.

Alternative the Coronas Playa in Costa Teguise is an adults only (bliss!!) hotel which now offers AI. Or you can book 1/2 board and upgrade to AI for a few days if you fancy it.

I would recommend both of these.
