From Los Cristianos to La Caleta is about 11km. Torviscas is probably about the two thirds of the way.

It's really just straight along the promenade James.

You do go along the geranium walk too. When you come to the end of the promenade near the Sheraton La Caletta you have to walk across the beach to go to La Caletta .

We did it a few years ago and back from Ps2 in Las Americas and when we arrived back the lift was broken and we were on the 6th floor ,I nearly cried!

But it's a lovely walk.

Last week I got the bus from Los Cris up to La Caleta (1,45 euro) and walked back. A lovely walk, right along the sea front, even in the scorching temperatures. The buses stop all along the route too so you could choose a different start/end point to suit.

Or get a bus to another part of the island and do a circular route - the buses in Tenerife are cheap, clean and frequent so you can make the most of them.
