Buses on the island ...

Hi guys ... we will be on Tenerife next week ... can anyone tell us what's the cheapest way to move around with the buses? Is there something like a week-ticket

And in general, are buses on the island cheap and reliable?

Any idea about the bus fare from north to south?

Hi, you can buy a BONO card for 15€ and 25€. A discounted fare is then deducted from the card. You only need 1 card per family. The fare from north to south will be around 9€ each way.

We always use the local buses, they are clean, run on time and have air conditioning.

You can access the TITSA website in English and download a timetable and map. There is also a very good app.
