Hi, as June is the middle of summer you will have long days of hot sunshine. Tenerife is an island of contrasts, from the dry arid south coast where the main holiday resorts are built, with water parks, boat trips, nightclubs etc, to the dramatic landscape of the south-west, to the lush green northern coast.

Everyone has their favorite corner, I prefer the traditional local town and resort of Puerto de la Cruz on the northern coast.

Tell us a little more about what you want out of your holiday, and we can point you in the right direction.

There is a wide range of accommodation, from 4and 5 star holiday resort hotels, to small family run hotels in local towns, as well as apartments, to suit all pockets. There is a great choice of locally produced food and wine, at great value for money prices.

Hi, yes. There is a large award winning sea-water lido complex on the sea front. The large free-form pools are in the shape of the Canary Islands and surrounded by sun-bathing areas, with hundreds of palm trees providing natural shade. There are good facilities including changing rooms, restaurants and refreshment shops. This is a lovely with the breathtaking fountain often featured on postcards.

There are two Blue Flag beaches, one mainly used by surfers, with a surf school, and a larger 3 bay beach, with good facilities including changing rooms, showers and cafes. There are also life guards on duty. This is a lovely beach for sun-bathing and swimming.

Within the town centre there are also a couple of rough beaches and rock pools often used by locals.

Hi,

at the beginning of June La Orotava has a festival for the day, they cover the streets in pictures made with flowers, it is well worth the visit.
