Terrassa to Sitges Spain by train

My husband and I will be on business next week in Terrassa just out of Barcelona. From there, we plan to go to Sitges; however, we will not have a car. I think we can get into Barcelona (not sure where) so how to get to Sitges from there.

Thanks in advance for any advice.

There is a direct train from Barcelona to Sitges. From Sants or if in centre from Passeig de Gracia.

you can take Renfe rodalies R4 line (commuter train) or R12 (regional train, expensivest than commuter, but should be a bit faster) in Terrassa and at Sants Estacio transfer to R2 (commuter) or R13-R14 (regional train).
