I used to know Barcelona very well, but haven't visited for about 15 years. I know in that time the city has changed considerably. I have also changed inasmuch that I now have limited mobility.
Therefore, in order to get around I will be bringing a small mobility scooter. It is the type that collapses, so not too cumbersome.
I know that many of the Metro stations are disabled friendly with good access. However, can somebody tell me if the buses are accessible. Here in London we have accessible buses, but often the drivers are very reluctant to help. I speak fluent Spanish, so have no difficulty in asking for help.
We are staying in Plaza Catalunya/Passeo de Gracia area, so very central.
Any tips or information would be helpful.
